Trading the distorted guitars and power-pop riffs that helped define their career for lush orchestral arrangements, piano-led melodies and intimate songwriting, the band created one of the most distinctive records in their extensive catalogue. Rather than building the songs around electric guitars and conventional rock production, Weezer embraced live instrumentation, strings, horns and piano to create a cohesive orchestral pop album. The result combines Cuomo's gift for memorable melodies with a rich, organic sound influenced by classic pop songwriting. Released during a period of global uncertainty, its themes of isolation, technology and human connection give the album an especially reflective character.

This limited edition Control Room Chaos Splatter pressing presents OK Human on clear vinyl with multicoloured splatter, creating a striking visual accompaniment to the album's colourful orchestral sound.
