Released in 2020, Idiot Prayer: Nick Cave Alone At Alexandra Palace captures Nick Cave in one of the most intimate performances of his career. Recorded alone at the piano inside London's Alexandra Palace, the album strips away the full-band arrangements of his catalogue to reveal the songs in stark, powerful form.

Spanning decades of Cave's songwriting, the 22-track performance includes extraordinary solo interpretations of "Into My Arms", "The Mercy Seat", "The Ship Song", "Jubilee Street" and "(Are You) The One That I've Been Waiting For?". The set reaches across material originally recorded with the Bad Seeds and Grinderman, as well as songs from more recent albums including Ghosteen.

The performance was recorded at Alexandra Palace, London on 19 June 2020, as the UK began emerging from the first COVID-19 lockdown. With Cave alone in the vast venue accompanied only by piano and voice, the unusual circumstances resulted in a beautifully sparse recording that places the focus entirely on his songwriting and performance.

This heavyweight Vinyl 2LP edition presents the complete 22-track performance across four sides of black vinyl and includes a digital download card.
