Music has always been central to the program, with presenters performing nursery rhymes, singalong favourites and original songs alongside familiar characters such as Big Ted, Little Ted, Jemima and Humpty. Its recordings combine children's music, storytelling and nostalgia, making Play School vinyl appealing to both families and adults who grew up with the show.
