Alicia Keys - As I Am (Deluxe 2LP Vinyl)

Alicia Keys – As I Am (Deluxe 2LP Vinyl) captures one of contemporary R&B's most distinctive voices at a defining moment in her career. Originally released in 2007, As I Am is the third studio album from American singer, songwriter and pianist Alicia Keys, featuring the worldwide hits No One, Like You'll Never See Me Again, Superwoman and Teenage Love Affair.

Following the success of Songs In A Minor and The Diary Of Alicia Keys, Keys returned with an album that embraced a more expansive, emotionally direct sound. Combining classic soul, gospel, contemporary R&B, blues and subtle rock influences, As I Am highlights her remarkable ability to unite powerful vocals, expressive piano playing and deeply personal songwriting.

The album's signature single, No One, is an uplifting declaration of unconditional love, driven by a memorable piano melody, infectious rhythm and one of Keys' most passionate vocal performances. The song became a worldwide success and earned Grammy Awards for Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.

Like You'll Never See Me Again explores love, vulnerability and the importance of appreciating the people closest to us. Its restrained piano arrangement and heartfelt lyrics make it one of the album's emotional highlights. Meanwhile, Superwoman celebrates strength, resilience and self-belief, building from its intimate opening into an empowering soul anthem.

Elsewhere, Teenage Love Affair brings a playful, nostalgic energy with its retro-inspired groove, while Go Ahead delivers a confident blend of piano-driven funk and contemporary R&B. Lesson Learned, featuring John Mayer, offers a reflective exploration of relationships and personal growth, combining Keys' soulful delivery with Mayer's distinctive musical contribution.

The album also reveals Keys' more introspective side through songs such as The Thing About Love, Where Do We Go From Here and Tell You Something (Nana's Reprise). The closing track, Sure Looks Good To Me, brings the record to a thoughtful conclusion, reinforcing its themes of love, perseverance and personal identity.

Produced with contributions from Keys, Kerry "Krucial" Brothers, Mark Batson, Jack Splash and Linda Perry, As I Am balances polished production with an organic musical warmth. Keys' expressive vocals and piano remain central throughout, giving the album a timeless quality that connects classic soul traditions with modern R&B.

A major commercial and critical success, As I Am debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and further established Alicia Keys as one of the most important soul artists of her generation.

This Deluxe Double Vinyl LP Edition presents the complete fourteen-track album across four sides, allowing listeners to enjoy its rich arrangements, warm instrumentation and powerful vocal performances on vinyl.
