Ani DiFranco - Unprecedented Sh!t (Coke Bottle Clear Vinyl LP)

Unprecedented Sh!t is the 23rd studio album from acclaimed singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco, released in 2024 through her own Righteous Babe Records. One of the most adventurous records in her extensive catalogue, the album pushes beyond her folk roots into experimental, electronic and alternative territory while retaining the fiercely independent songwriting and social commentary that have defined her career.

The 11-track album features Baby Roe, Spinning Room, Virus, You Forgot To Speak and The Thing At Hand. Across the record, DiFranco tackles subjects including reproductive freedom, identity, the pandemic, patriarchal systems and the challenges of contemporary life, before closing with the reflective The Knowing.

For Unprecedented Sh!t, DiFranco collaborated with producer BJ Burton, known for his work with artists including Bon Iver and Low. Working largely from DiFranco's voice and guitar recordings, Burton helped transform the material through effects, filters and electronic manipulation, creating a record that moves between intimate acoustic moments and dense, experimental soundscapes.

This Indie Exclusive edition presents the complete 11-track album on a single 140g Coke Bottle Clear translucent vinyl LP, housed in a heavy-stock gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeve.
