Avril Lavigne - The Best Damn Thing (Vinyl 2LP)

The Best Damn Thing is the third studio album from Avril Lavigne, originally released in 2007. Marking a shift towards a brighter, more energetic pop-punk sound, the album combines distorted guitars, punchy hooks and Lavigne's unmistakable attitude, becoming one of the defining pop-rock releases of the late 2000s.

The album features some of Lavigne's biggest songs, including Girlfriend, When You're Gone, Hot and Keep Holding On, alongside fan favourites such as Runaway, Everything Back But You, Innocence and the title track The Best Damn Thing.

The Best Damn Thing captures Lavigne embracing a faster and more playful approach than on her earlier albums, balancing high-energy pop-punk tracks with more reflective ballads. The combination of huge choruses, guitar-driven production and Lavigne's direct songwriting helped make the album another major international success.

This 2024 Expanded Edition presents the album across two black vinyl LPs and brings the expanded digital track list to vinyl for the first time. Five bonus tracks are included: Alone, I Will Be, an acoustic version of I Can Do Better and two alternate mixes of Girlfriend, including the Dr. Luke Mix featuring Lil Mama.
