Avril Lavigne - Under My Skin (Vinyl LP)

Under My Skin is the second studio album from Avril Lavigne, originally released in 2004. Following the breakthrough success of Let Go, the album moved into a darker and heavier direction, combining Lavigne’s pop-rock songwriting with more prominent alternative-rock guitars and a moodier edge.

The album features some of Lavigne’s defining songs, including My Happy Ending, Don't Tell Me, Nobody's Home and Take Me Away. Tracks such as He Wasn't, Together and Fall to Pieces balance big melodic hooks with the more introspective songwriting that runs throughout the record.

Lavigne worked with producers and songwriters including Don Gilmore, Butch Walker and Raine Maida, with Chantal Kreviazuk also contributing extensively to the songwriting. The resulting album retained the immediacy of her debut while developing a heavier and more emotionally direct sound.

This 2024 Vinyl LP edition is pressed on standard black vinyl and features the expanded 13-track version of the album. It includes I Always Get What I Want, previously available as a digital bonus track and included on vinyl with this edition.
