Beyoncé – B'Day (20th Anniversary 180g Vinyl 2LP)

B'Day is the second solo studio album from global superstar Beyoncé, originally released on 4 September 2006 to coincide with her 25th birthday. Bursting with energy, confidence and powerful vocals, the album blends contemporary R&B, funk, soul, hip-hop and dance-pop into one of the defining pop releases of the 2000s. Following the enormous success of her debut album Dangerously in Love, Beyoncé returned with a bolder, more rhythm-driven sound that showcased her remarkable versatility as both a vocalist and performer.

The album features some of Beyoncé's most celebrated recordings, including the infectious Déjà Vu featuring JAY-Z, the worldwide number-one hit Irreplaceable, the explosive Ring the Alarm and the empowering dance anthem Get Me Bodied. Other highlights include Upgrade U, Freakum Dress, Green Light and the Shakira collaboration Beautiful Liar. From the irresistible grooves of Suga Mama to the emotional intensity of Resentment and Listen, the album demonstrates Beyoncé's extraordinary vocal range and commanding musical presence.

Recorded following Beyoncé's starring role in the film adaptation of Dreamgirls, B'Day draws inspiration from classic funk, soul and R&B while embracing the contemporary sounds of mid-2000s pop. Working with an acclaimed production team that included Swizz Beatz, Rodney Jerkins, The Neptunes and Rich Harrison, Beyoncé created an album characterised by punchy horn arrangements, driving percussion, layered harmonies and infectious hooks.

Upon its original release, B'Day debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and became a major international success. Its combination of powerful performances, memorable singles and fearless musical experimentation helped establish Beyoncé as one of the most influential solo artists of her generation. The album remains an essential part of her catalogue and a landmark release in contemporary R&B and pop music.

Celebrating two decades of this iconic album, the official 2026 B'Day 20th Anniversary Edition presents an expanded 15-track collection pressed on two heavyweight 180g black vinyl LPs. This special anniversary release includes Morning Dew (Donk) alongside favourites such as Check on It, Beautiful Liar and Flaws and All.
