Beyoncé – Cowboy Carter (180g Opaque White Vinyl 2LP)

Cowboy Carter is the eighth studio album from Beyoncé, released in 2024 as the second instalment of her planned three-act project following Renaissance. Drawing from country, Americana, folk, blues, soul, rock and R&B, the album explores the deep connections between Black musical traditions and American roots music while pushing those influences into unmistakably contemporary territory.

The album features the chart-topping Texas Hold 'Em and 16 Carriages, alongside Beyoncé's interpretation of Jolene and collaborations including II Most Wanted with Miley Cyrus, Levii's Jeans with Post Malone and Just For Fun with Willie Jones. Other highlights include Bodyguard, Daughter, Riiverdance, II Hands II Heaven and Sweet ★ Honey ★ Buckiin'.

Cowboy Carter is an ambitious exploration of American music rather than a straightforward country album, moving between acoustic instrumentation, country storytelling, psychedelic soul, gospel, blues and contemporary pop. The record also incorporates appearances and contributions from artists spanning generations, including Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone and Willie Jones.

This special vinyl edition is pressed across two 180g Opaque White Vinyl LPs and features the distinctive Snake Face back cover. Presented in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves, this was produced as a one-time pressing. This vinyl configuration contains 22 tracks, differing from the expanded digital edition of the album.
