Billy Idol – Whiplash Smile (Limited Edition Tangerine Vinyl LP)

Originally released in 1986, Whiplash Smile is the third studio album from Billy Idol and a defining release from his mid-'80s peak. Combining hard rock, new wave, pop and electronic influences, the album pairs Idol's unmistakable vocals with the distinctive guitar work of longtime collaborator Steve Stevens.

Featuring standout tracks including "To Be A Lover", "Sweet Sixteen", "Don't Need A Gun" and "Worlds Forgotten Boy", the album captures the polished, rebellious sound that made Billy Idol one of the era's biggest rock stars.

Other highlights include "Soul Standing By", "Beyond Belief", "Fatal Charm" and "One Night, One Chance", giving Whiplash Smile a strong mix of anthemic rock, atmospheric production and melodic pop hooks.

This Tangerine Vinyl LP edition was released in 2025 and presents the complete original 10-track album on coloured vinyl.

Supplied brand new and sealed, it's a great addition for Billy Idol fans and collectors of classic '80s rock, new wave and coloured vinyl.
