Bon Jovi – Forever (Limited Edition Ocean Waves Vinyl LP)

Bon Jovi – Forever is the sixteenth studio album from the legendary American rock band, released in June 2024. Combining soaring choruses, melodic guitars and heartfelt songwriting, the record celebrates four decades of Bon Jovi while embracing themes of friendship, love, resilience and optimism. This limited-edition Ocean Waves vinyl LP features transparent green vinyl with a striking white splatter effect.

Arriving during the band's 40th anniversary celebrations, Forever finds Jon Bon Jovi reflecting on the experiences and relationships that have shaped his life. The album also marks an important creative chapter following his recovery from vocal cord surgery, bringing renewed energy to the band's signature blend of arena rock and melodic pop.

The opening single Legendary sets the tone with an uplifting chorus and lyrics celebrating the people who make life meaningful. We Made It Look Easy looks back on youthful adventures and lasting friendships, while Living Proof delivers driving guitars, an anthemic refrain and the return of Bon Jovi's unmistakable talk-box sound.

Waves brings a reflective atmosphere, balancing emotional storytelling with a powerful arrangement. Seeds explores perseverance and hope, while Kiss the Bride offers a tender, personal moment inspired by family and the passage of time.

Side B opens with The People's House, an energetic song about unity and shared purpose. Walls of Jericho continues the album's uplifting spirit, while I Wrote You a Song and Living in Paradise showcase the band's gift for memorable melodies.

My First Guitar reflects on the enduring connection between a musician and their instrument. The closing ballad Hollow Man provides a quieter, introspective conclusion to an album built around gratitude, perseverance and the joy of making music.

With twelve tracks of classic Bon Jovi songwriting, Forever offers a satisfying combination of powerful rock anthems and heartfelt ballads. This 2024 limited Ocean Waves pressing adds a distinctive coloured-vinyl presentation to the band's modern catalogue.
