Britney is the third studio album from Britney Spears, originally released in 2001. Marking a shift from the bright teen-pop sound of her first two albums, the record introduced stronger R&B, dance-pop and rock influences while presenting a more mature direction for Spears at the beginning of the 2000s.

The album features some of Spears’ defining songs from the era, including I'm a Slave 4 U, Overprotected and I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman. Other highlights include Anticipating, Boys and her version of I Love Rock 'N' Roll, giving the album a varied sound that moves between sleek pop production, R&B and guitar-driven moments.

Britney brought together an extensive production team, including Max Martin, Rami, Rodney Jerkins and The Neptunes, while What It's Like to Be Me was co-written and co-produced by Justin Timberlake. The combination helped make the album an important transitional release in Spears’ catalogue.

This 2023 Vinyl LP reissue is pressed on standard black vinyl and presents the 12-track album across two sides.
