Bruce Springsteen – Lucky Town (Vinyl LP)

Lucky Town is the tenth studio album from American rock icon Bruce Springsteen, originally released in 1992 on the same day as its companion album Human Touch. Written and recorded relatively quickly after the lengthy sessions for Human Touch, the album is a concise and personal collection built around Springsteen's guitars, vocals and increasingly reflective songwriting.

The 10-track album opens with Better Days and the driving title track Lucky Town, followed by highlights including If I Should Fall Behind, Leap Of Faith and Living Proof. The record moves between upbeat rock and more introspective material before closing with the understated My Beautiful Reward.

Springsteen handled much of the instrumentation himself on Lucky Town, with contributions from musicians including Gary Mallaber, Randy Jackson, Ian McLagan and Patti Scialfa. Released following a period of major personal and musical change, the album explores relationships, family, fatherhood and the search for contentment outside the life Springsteen had previously known.

This 2018 remastered Vinyl LP presents the complete 10-track album on a single 140g black vinyl record. The album was remastered by Bob Ludwig and Toby Scott, with the original analogue masters transferred using the Plangent Process, and this edition includes a download insert.
