Desire, I Want to Turn Into You is the acclaimed 2023 album from Caroline Polachek, following her breakthrough solo record Pang. Released through Polachek's own Perpetual Novice label, the album pushes her distinctive art-pop sound into colourful new territory, combining electronic production, soaring vocals and unexpected influences ranging from flamenco to bagpipes.

The 12-track album features Welcome To My Island, Bunny Is A Rider, Sunset, Blood And Butter and the atmospheric closing track Billions. Fly To You brings together Polachek with guest vocals from Grimes and Dido, while tracks including I Believe, Butterfly Net and Smoke showcase the album's adventurous approach to contemporary pop.

Written and produced with a range of collaborators while retaining Polachek's unmistakable creative identity, Desire, I Want to Turn Into You moves freely between intimate songwriting and elaborate, experimental production. It became one of the defining releases of Polachek's solo career and further established the singular sound she developed on Pang.

This edition is pressed on striking metallic copper coloured vinyl and includes a printed inner sleeve plus a large double-sided fold-out lyric poster, making it a particularly distinctive physical edition of the album.
