Chappell Roan – The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess (Deluxe Collector’s Edition Vinyl 2LP)

The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess is the debut studio album from Chappell Roan, originally released in 2023. Blending synth-pop, dance-pop and theatrical songwriting, the album follows Roan through romance, heartbreak, self-discovery and queer identity, establishing the colourful and larger-than-life pop persona that brought her to a worldwide audience.

The album features Red Wine Supernova, HOT TO GO!, Pink Pony Club, Casual and My Kink Is Karma. Across its 14 tracks, Roan moves between euphoric dance-pop, emotional ballads and huge singalong choruses, with songs such as Femininomenon and Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl showcasing the album's playful sense of humour and theatrical energy.

Created with producer and songwriter Dan Nigro, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess combines polished modern pop production with Roan's distinctive vocals and sharply detailed songwriting. The record's mix of vulnerability, camp and unabashed pop hooks helped establish Roan's distinctive musical identity.

This Deluxe Collector’s Edition Vinyl 2LP is pressed on two 180g black vinyl records and presented in a gatefold jacket with an embossed die-cut O-card and Mylar glitter star inserts. The complete 14-track album is spread across three playable sides, with Side D left blank.
