Chevelle – Wonder What's Next (Vinyl LP)

Wonder What's Next is the second studio album from American rock band Chevelle, originally released in 2002. The album pushed the trio into a much wider audience, combining heavy alternative-metal riffs, tightly controlled dynamics and Pete Loeffler’s distinctive vocal delivery.

The record includes several of Chevelle’s best-known songs, including The Red, Send the Pain Below and Closure. Across tracks such as Family System, Comfortable Liar and the title track, the band balances thick guitar tones and muscular rhythms with quieter, more atmospheric passages.

Produced by Garth “GGGarth” Richardson and mixed by Andy Wallace, the album captures the focused, heavy sound that became central to Chevelle’s early-2000s work. Its direct songwriting and shifting loud-quiet dynamics helped establish Wonder What's Next as a defining release in the band’s catalogue.

This 2021 vinyl LP reissue is pressed on standard black vinyl and contains the original 11-track album across two sides.
