Courtney Barnett – Things Take Time, Take Time (Limited Edition 'Turning Blue' Vinyl LP)

Things Take Time, Take Time is the third studio album from Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett, released in 2021. Written during a period of major change and isolation, the album finds Barnett embracing a calmer and more reflective sound, pairing her distinctive conversational songwriting with understated indie rock, gentle guitar melodies and warm, spacious arrangements.

The album features Rae Street, Before You Gotta Go, If I Don't Hear from You Tonight and Write a List of Things to Look Forward To. Across its 10 tracks, Barnett turns everyday observations into songs about friendship, loneliness, patience and finding optimism during uncertain times.

Recorded with drummer and producer Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint, Things Take Time, Take Time strips away some of the heavier guitar sound of Barnett's earlier records in favour of drum machines, restrained arrangements and intimate performances. The result is one of the most relaxed and personal albums in her catalogue.

This Limited Edition Turning Blue Vinyl LP is the Australian coloured-vinyl pressing of the album, presenting the complete 10-track record across two sides.
