Danny Elfman – The Nightmare Before Christmas (Original Soundtrack Vinyl 2LP)

The Nightmare Before Christmas is the enchanting original soundtrack to the 1993 stop-motion animated musical directed by Henry Selick and conceived by Tim Burton. Composed by Danny Elfman, it features unforgettable songs including This Is Halloween, What's This?, Jack's Lament, Oogie Boogie's Song and Sally's Song.

Elfman follows Jack Skellington as he discovers Christmas and attempts to bring its magic home. He also provides Jack's singing voice, alongside Catherine O'Hara and Ken Page.

This Is Halloween introduces the film's wonderfully strange world, while Jack's Lament reveals the longing beneath Jack's spooky persona. What's This? captures his amazement, while Oogie Boogie's Song contrasts with the tenderness of Sally's Song.

Instrumental cues showcase Elfman's imaginative orchestral writing, making this a favourite for Halloween and Christmas listening.

This Walt Disney Records reissue presents 20 tracks across two LPs in a gatefold sleeve.
