Deftones - Covers (LP Ltd. Vinyl Record)

Covers brings together Deftones’ interpretations of songs from outside their own catalogue. First released as a collection in 2011, it reveals the breadth of the band’s listening, moving between new wave, soul, classic rock and more atmospheric material.

Their versions of Sade’s No Ordinary Love, Duran Duran’s The Chauffeur and The Cure’s If Only Tonight We Could Sleep show how comfortably they can move beyond a straightforward heavy-rock approach. Drive and Simple Man provide different points of reference, with Chino Moreno’s voice giving the varied selections a shared character.

This LP contains eleven covers across two sides, bringing the band’s versions of these varied songs together as a single collection.
