Ella Langley – Dandelion (White Vinyl 2LP)

Dandelion is the second studio album from American country singer-songwriter Ella Langley, released in April 2026 through SAWGOD and Columbia Records. Following her breakthrough debut Hungover, Langley delivers an expansive 18-track collection of heartfelt country storytelling, Southern rock influences and emotionally honest songwriting. Combining her distinctive, smoky vocals with memorable melodies and richly textured instrumentation, Dandelion captures an artist embracing growth, independence and a new chapter in her musical career.

Co-produced by Ella Langley, Miranda Lambert and Ben West, the album explores love, heartbreak, resilience and personal transformation. Its title reflects the symbolism of the dandelion: a flower capable of growing in difficult conditions, representing hope, healing and the determination to move forward.

The album opens with Froggy Went A Courtin' – Intro, drawing on a traditional folk song before moving into the title track, Dandelion. The song introduces the album's themes of self-discovery and finding strength through change. Choosin' Texas, one of Langley's biggest breakthrough hits, follows with an irresistible country melody and a story of complicated love and divided loyalties.

We Know Us continues the album's exploration of relationships, while Low Lights brings a more reflective atmosphere. Across these opening tracks, Langley combines contemporary country production with the direct, conversational storytelling that has become a defining feature of her music.

Side B opens with Be Her, a song about self-image, comparison and the desire to become the person you imagine yourself to be. You & Me Time offers a more intimate perspective on relationships, while Loving Life Again celebrates rediscovering happiness and moving beyond difficult experiences. Bottom of Your Boots and Speaking Terms round out the first record with a mixture of emotional vulnerability and confident country songwriting.

The second LP opens with I Gotta Quit, followed by It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels, a nod to country music's long tradition of songs about relationships and double standards. Last Call for Us and Broken continue the album's reflections on love, loss and the process of healing.

Side D features Somethin' Simple and the standout collaboration Butterfly Season, featuring Miranda Lambert. Bringing together two distinctive voices in modern country music, the duet reinforces the album's themes of change and personal renewal. An acoustic version of Most Good Things Do provides a stripped-back moment before Froggy Went A Courtin' – Outro brings the record full circle.

Throughout Dandelion, Langley draws on traditional country, Americana and Southern rock while maintaining a contemporary sound. The album's combination of personal storytelling, strong melodies and expressive vocals makes it a compelling listen for fans of Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson and modern Nashville country.
