Fleetwood Mac – The Dance (Vinyl 2LP)

The Dance is the celebrated 1997 live album from legendary British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac. Featuring unforgettable performances of The Chain, Dreams, Rhiannon, Go Your Own Way and Don't Stop, the album captures the band's classic lineup reunited for an extraordinary concert. Combining timeless songwriting, outstanding musicianship and remarkable vocal harmonies, it remains one of Fleetwood Mac's most beloved live recordings.

Recorded at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California, in May 1997, The Dance reunited Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Christine McVie, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood. The five musicians had not recorded an album together since 1987's Tango in the Night. Their reunion celebrated more than two decades of music while introducing new material alongside their greatest hits.

The concert opens with The Chain, its unmistakable bass line and soaring guitar finale setting the stage for a powerful performance. Dreams highlights Stevie Nicks' distinctive vocals, while Christine McVie's Everywhere brings warmth and irresistible melody. Rhiannon follows with an atmospheric arrangement that captures the magic of the band's live performances.

Lindsey Buckingham delivers an electrifying performance of I'm So Afraid, showcasing his exceptional guitar playing. The uplifting Temporary One and reflective Bleed to Love Her introduce newer compositions, while an intimate acoustic interpretation of Big Love reveals Buckingham's remarkable fingerpicking technique.

Side C features the beautiful Landslide, a moving performance from Stevie Nicks, followed by the joyful Say You Love Me. Buckingham's My Little Demon brings a darker edge before Silver Springs delivers one of the album's most emotionally charged moments.

The final side includes You Make Loving Fun, Sweet Girl and the explosive Go Your Own Way. Tusk features the USC Trojan Marching Band, creating a spectacular concert highlight, before Don't Stop closes the album with an uplifting celebration of Fleetwood Mac's enduring music.

Originally released in August 1997, The Dance reached number one on the US Billboard 200, introducing the band's classic songs to a new generation.
