FLETCHER – Finding Fletcher (Translucent Light Blue Vinyl EP)

FLETCHER – Finding Fletcher is the debut EP from American singer-songwriter Cari Fletcher, originally released in 2016. Blending alternative pop, electronic production and emotionally direct songwriting, this six-track collection introduced the distinctive voice and fearless personality that would help establish FLETCHER as one of contemporary pop's most compelling artists.

Available here on translucent light blue vinyl, this 2023 pressing brings FLETCHER's early recordings to the turntable in a collectible physical format. Featuring the breakthrough single War Paint, the EP captures the raw ambition, youthful energy and personal storytelling that became defining elements of her music.

Opening track Princess sets the tone with confident vocals and an atmospheric pop arrangement. The infectious War Paint follows, combining a powerful chorus with themes of resilience, self-expression and determination. Originally attracting attention through its viral success, the song helped introduce FLETCHER to an international audience.

Over My Head explores the emotional intensity of young relationships, balancing vulnerability with polished electronic textures. On the second side, Avalanche builds around expressive vocals and dramatic production, while Wasted Youth reflects on freedom, uncertainty and the desire to make the most of life's fleeting moments.

The closing track, Live Young Die Free, brings the EP to an uplifting conclusion, embracing independence and the excitement of finding your own path. Across its six songs, Finding Fletcher showcases the beginnings of an artist whose honest songwriting and powerful vocal performances would later earn her a devoted following.

Released in 2023 through Snapback Entertainment, this translucent light blue vinyl EP is an appealing addition for FLETCHER fans and collectors of modern alternative pop. Its compact tracklist offers an excellent introduction to her early sound, from the anthemic energy of War Paint to the emotional storytelling of Avalanche.
