Fontaines D.C. – Dopamine Chamber (Limited Edition Blue Marble Vinyl LP)

Irish alternative rock band Fontaines D.C. return with Dopamine Chamber, their fifth studio album, released in October 2026. Following the international success of 2024's Romance, the Dublin five-piece continue their remarkable evolution, pushing beyond their post-punk beginnings into darker, more experimental territory. Combining atmospheric electronics, haunting melodies and emotionally charged songwriting, Dopamine Chamber explores the uneasy relationship between pleasure, anxiety and the modern world.

Led by the distinctive vocals of Grian Chatten, the album introduces a colder, more synthetic sound while retaining the band's unmistakable intensity. Lead single Marianne offers an early glimpse of this new direction, pairing brooding textures with the group's increasingly adventurous approach to melody and arrangement. Where Is Gone?, featuring Spanish singer Rosalía, adds another dimension to the album, reflecting Fontaines D.C.'s willingness to explore new musical influences and collaborations.

Produced by acclaimed British producer James Ford, whose credits include Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode and Blur, Dopamine Chamber builds on the creative ambition that established Fontaines D.C. as one of the most significant alternative rock bands of their generation. Where earlier albums captured the urgency of Dublin street life and youthful disillusionment, this record takes a broader look at modern uncertainty, technology, environmental anxiety and the search for meaning in an increasingly unstable world.

This limited edition indie-exclusive pressing is presented on striking blue marble vinyl through XL Recordings. A distinctive collectible edition of the band's fifth studio album, it is an excellent addition for fans of contemporary post-punk, experimental rock and alternative music.
