Foo Fighters – Skin And Bones (120g Vinyl 2LP)

Originally released in 2006, Skin And Bones captures Foo Fighters in a stripped-back live setting, revealing a different side to the band's typically loud and guitar-driven sound. Recorded during a series of acoustic performances at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles, the album reworks songs from across their catalogue with intimate arrangements and an expanded live lineup.

Featuring acoustic performances of Foo Fighters favourites including "Everlong", "My Hero", "Times Like These", "Best Of You" and "Big Me", the album demonstrates just how well Dave Grohl's songwriting translates beyond the band's usual full-volume approach.

The core band is joined by additional musicians including Pat Smear on guitar, Petra Haden on violin and vocals, Rami Jaffee on keyboards and Drew Hester on percussion. Their contributions add strings, piano, accordion, mandolin and additional textures to songs including "Razor", "Marigold", "February Stars" and the title track, creating a warm and atmospheric live performance.

This 120g Vinyl 2LP edition presents the complete 15-track live album across four sides of black vinyl. The final side closes with a memorable three-song run of "Friend Of A Friend", "Best Of You" and "Everlong".
