Genesis Owusu – Redstar Wu And The Worldwide Scourge (Fluorescent Yellow Vinyl 2LP)

REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE is the third studio album from Ghanaian-Australian artist Genesis Owusu, released in 2026. Direct, urgent and musically adventurous, the album reflects on the political, social and economic turmoil of contemporary life while exploring resistance, community and the search for hope amid uncertainty.

The album features PIRATE RADIO, STAMPEDE, DEATH CULT ZOMBIE and LIFE KEEPS GOING, alongside HELLSTAR featuring Duckwrth and FALLING BOTH WAYS featuring Ladyhawke. Across 14 tracks, Owusu moves between neo-soul, alternative pop, synth-punk, funk, hip-hop and rock without settling comfortably into any single genre.

REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE was recorded in South Wales with executive producer Dann Hume, with the pair working through free-flowing sessions where different sounds and genres could develop without restriction. Rather than the more fantastical storytelling of Owusu's earlier albums, the record places its focus firmly on the present, with Redstar Wu serving as an alias through which Owusu confronts the world around him.

This Fluorescent Yellow Vinyl 2LP edition is pressed on transparent fluoro-yellow vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve. The complete 14-track album is spread across four sides.

Supplied brand new and sealed.
