George Michael & Wham! – Last Christmas (Original Soundtrack Vinyl 2LP)

Last Christmas: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack celebrates the music of George Michael and Wham!, bringing together fifteen songs including Last Christmas, Faith, Freedom! '90, Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go and One More Try. Released alongside the 2019 romantic comedy, the collection spans George Michael's remarkable career, from his early pop success with Wham! to his acclaimed solo recordings.

Directed by Paul Feig and starring Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding, Last Christmas takes inspiration from Michael's songs. Its soundtrack is both a companion to the film and a celebration of one of Britain's most distinctive voices, blending festive nostalgia with soulful ballads, dance-pop and sophisticated songwriting.

Wham!'s enduring seasonal favourite Last Christmas opens the album, followed by the dance-floor energy of Too Funky and Fantasy. The reflective Praying for Time leads into Faith, while Waiting for That Day, Heal the Pain and One More Try showcase Michael's expressive vocals and emotional range.

Across the second LP, Fastlove and Wham!'s Everything She Wants bring irresistible grooves, while Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go supplies pure pop exuberance. Move On and Freedom! '90 demonstrate Michael's versatility. A live performance of Praying for Time precedes This Is How (We Want You to Get High), a previously unreleased recording featured in the film.

This 2019 double LP edition presents all fifteen selections on 180g black vinyl in a gatefold sleeve. A wonderful addition to any George Michael collection and an appealing soundtrack for the festive season.
