Goo Goo Dolls – A Boy Named Goo (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Vinyl 2LP)

A Boy Named Goo is the breakthrough fifth studio album from Goo Goo Dolls, originally released in 1995. Bridging the band's earlier alternative rock sound with the melodic songwriting that would define their later career, the album became a major commercial breakthrough and introduced Goo Goo Dolls to a much wider audience.

The original 13-track album features the breakthrough hit Name, alongside Long Way Down, Naked, Flat Top and Only One. Its combination of rough-edged guitars, punk influences and increasingly melodic songwriting captures the band at a pivotal point between their underground beginnings and the huge mainstream success that followed.

Celebrating the album's 30th anniversary, this Deluxe Edition pairs the complete original album with a previously unreleased 1996 live performance from the Aladdin Theatre in Las Vegas. The 11-song concert captures the band on 10 March 1996 and includes live versions of Naked, Long Way Down, Name, Flat Top and more.

This 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition presents 24 tracks across two black vinyl LPs, with the original album on LP1 and the previously unreleased Las Vegas concert on LP2, housed in a gatefold sleeve.
