Grateful Dead - Aoxomoxoa (50th Anniversary 180g Remastered Vinyl LP)

Aoxomoxoa is the third studio album from Grateful Dead, originally released in 1969. One of the band's defining psychedelic-era recordings, it marked their first self-produced album, their first recorded using 16-track technology and the beginning of Robert Hunter's central role as the group's lyricist.

The eight-track album features enduring Grateful Dead favourites including St. Stephen, China Cat Sunflower, Mountains Of The Moon and Cosmic Charlie. Elsewhere, Dupree's Diamond Blues, Doin' That Rag and the experimental What's Become Of The Baby capture the adventurous psychedelic sound of the band's late-1960s period.

Aoxomoxoa was originally mixed in 1969 before Jerry Garcia and Phil Lesh returned to the recordings and created a revised mix in 1971. This vinyl edition uses the definitive 1971 band-produced mix, newly remastered as part of the album's 50th anniversary celebrations.

This 50th Anniversary remastered edition presents the complete eight-track album on a 180g black vinyl LP.
