Hilltop Hoods – Clown Prince (First Pressing 2006) Vinyl Record

Clown Prince captures Hilltop Hoods at the point where Australian hip-hop was reaching a much wider audience. Released in 2006, the single centres on the group’s playful delivery and tightly worked rhythms, with a hook that gives the track an immediate, live-ready character.

This six-track release presents the song in vocal, radio and instrumental forms, followed by the corresponding Trials remix versions. That arrangement makes the record useful both for listening through the different productions and for DJs who want the instrumental or cleaner radio treatments.

This is the 2006 first pressing on Obese Records, catalogue OBR041.
