Originally released in 2009, State Of The Art is the fifth studio album from Australian hip-hop legends Hilltop Hoods. Debuting at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, the album became another major milestone for the Adelaide trio, combining Suffa and Pressure's distinctive lyrical style with DJ Debris' production and a polished, expansive sound.

Featuring some of the group's best-known tracks, including "Chase That Feeling", "Still Standing" and "Fifty In Five", State Of The Art captures Hilltop Hoods at the height of their commercial and creative success. The album also features Pharoahe Monch on "Classic Example" and Trials on "The Light You Burned".

State Of The Art was certified triple platinum in Australia and won Best Urban Album at the 2009 ARIA Awards. "Chase That Feeling" became one of the defining songs of the band's career, reaching No. 3 in triple j's Hottest 100 of 2009.

This 180g Vinyl 2LP reissue is pressed on heavyweight black vinyl at 45 RPM and housed in a matte gatefold sleeve. Spreading the album across four sides makes this an excellent vinyl edition of one of the most important Australian hip-hop albums of its era.
