Hoodoo Gurus – Electric Soup (The Singles Collection) (Remastered Vinyl 2LP)

Electric Soup (The Singles Collection) brings together 19 essential tracks from Australian rock legends Hoodoo Gurus. Originally released in 1992, the collection draws together the band's Australian singles up to that point, making it a superb overview of the sharp melodies, garage-rock energy and distinctive songwriting that established Hoodoo Gurus as one of Australia's most enduring rock bands.

The collection is packed with favourites including What's My Scene?, Bittersweet, Come Anytime, 1000 Miles Away, Like Wow – Wipeout! and Miss Freelove '69. Earlier classics including Leilani, Tojo, My Girl and I Want You Back sit alongside later singles to trace the band's evolution through their first decade.

Electric Soup was Hoodoo Gurus' first singles compilation and became a major Australian success, reaching the Top 3 of the ARIA Albums Chart. More than 70 minutes of music showcase Dave Faulkner's songwriting and the band's blend of garage rock, power pop and Australian alternative rock.

This remastered Vinyl 2LP reissue marked the first time Electric Soup was released on vinyl. The complete 19-track collection is spread across four sides and pressed on red vinyl.
