Horrorshow – Good Problems, Bad Feelings (Blue and Purple Vinyl 2LP)

Australian hip-hop duo Horrorshow bring together two distinct chapters of their music on Good Problems, Bad Feelings, a 2022 double vinyl release combining their previously released EPs with two bonus remixes. Made up of rapper Solo and producer Adit, the Sydney group have built a loyal following through thoughtful lyricism, soulful production and an unmistakably personal approach to Australian hip-hop. This collection showcases their ability to balance uplifting, laid-back grooves with more reflective songwriting.

The Good Problems material opens with DMT, followed by Yours & Mine and Take It Slow, establishing a warm, melodic atmosphere. My Friend, Old Soles and Bill Withers continue the collection's exploration of relationships, everyday experiences and personal perspective. With Adit's production providing a rich musical foundation, Solo's conversational delivery and carefully considered lyrics give these songs a distinctly intimate character.

The Bad Feelings recordings introduce a more introspective side of Horrorshow's sound. Melancholaholic features American rapper Slug of Atmosphere, while Have a Nice Day brings in Australian group Bootleg Rascal. Other highlights include Ships in the Night, Leisure Island, Just a Ride and Hideaway, featuring Mason Dane. Together, the two EPs capture the contrasting moods suggested by the release's title, moving between optimism, uncertainty and the complexities of everyday life.

Released through respected Australian independent label Elefant Traks, this special double vinyl LP features the Good Problems material on blue vinyl and Bad Feelings on purple vinyl. The package includes printed inner sleeves and an insert, along with two bonus tracks: DMT (Remix) featuring Jannah Beth and Yours & Mine (Lee-mix) featuring Ben Lee. Featuring fourteen tracks across four sides, this colourful pressing is an excellent addition for collectors of Australian hip-hop and longtime Horrorshow fans.
