INXS - Recorded Live At The US Festival 1983 (Shabooh Shoobah) (Vinyl LP)

Recorded Live At The US Festival 1983 captures INXS at a pivotal moment in their rise from Australian pub-rock favourites to an international phenomenon. Recorded at California's massive US Festival on 28 May 1983, the performance finds the young band bringing the songs of their breakthrough album Shabooh Shoobah to one of the biggest audiences they had faced at that point in their career.

The nine-song set features The One Thing, Don't Change, To Look At You, Black And White and Soul Mistake. In fact, nine of the ten songs from Shabooh Shoobah appear here, offering a live snapshot of the album that helped establish INXS beyond Australia and laid the groundwork for their enormous international success later in the decade.

INXS performed at the US Festival near San Bernardino, California, on 28 May 1983, towards the end of an extensive American tour. Tim Farriss later recalled the enormous scale of the crowd and the band's excitement at taking the stage, with the recording capturing the youthful energy and confidence of Michael Hutchence, Andrew Farriss, Tim Farriss, Jon Farriss, Kirk Pengilly and Garry Gary Beers.

Officially released for the first time in 2022 as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations for Shabooh Shoobah, this Vinyl LP edition is pressed on 180g black vinyl and housed in a gatefold jacket. The complete nine-track performance is presented across two sides.
