Originally released in 1981, Killers is the second studio album from Iron Maiden and a defining release from the early years of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. It was the band's final studio album with vocalist Paul Di'Anno and the first to feature guitarist Adrian Smith alongside Dave Murray, establishing the twin-guitar line-up that would become central to the classic Maiden sound.

Featuring fan favourites including "Wrathchild", "Murders in the Rue Morgue", "Killers" and "Purgatory", the album captures Iron Maiden at their rawest, combining galloping bass lines, harmonised guitars and the darker, streetwise energy of the band's earliest material.

Killers also marked Iron Maiden's first collaboration with legendary producer Martin Birch, who would go on to produce many of the band's classic albums throughout the 1980s. Instrumentals "The Ides of March" and "Genghis Khan" sit alongside longer cuts such as "Prodigal Son", giving the record a distinctive balance of aggression, melody and atmosphere.

This 180g Vinyl LP reissue presents the original UK 10-track album sequence on heavyweight black vinyl, with audio cut from the original analogue master tapes.
