Jebediah – Oiks (Vinyl LP)

Released in 2024, OIKS is the sixth studio album from Australian alternative rock favourites Jebediah and their first full-length record in more than a decade. Arriving 13 years after Kosciuszko, the album captures a band reconnecting creatively while retaining the melodic hooks, distorted guitars and unmistakable character that have defined Jebediah since the 1990s.

Featuring standout singles "Gum Up the Bearings", "Rubberman" and "Motivation", OIKS blends the band's classic indie rock sound with a more mature and exploratory approach. From punchy guitar-driven tracks to more atmospheric moments, the record feels both comfortably familiar and distinctly contemporary.

The album began taking shape during studio sessions in Perth in 2018, with the band working alongside longtime collaborator Dave Parkin. Interrupted by the pandemic before eventually being completed, OIKS became a genuine labour of love and a snapshot of where Jebediah found themselves after nearly three decades together.

This Vinyl LP edition presents the complete 11-track album on a single record, including "Bad for You", "Gum Up the Bearings", "Motivation", "Rubberman", "Start Again" and album closer "Aqua-Lung".
