John Coltrane - A Love Supreme (LP) (Orange 180g Vinyl Record)

A Love Supreme is John Coltrane’s four-part suite of spiritual reflection, recorded with McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison and Elvin Jones. Released in 1965, it combines a clear recurring motif with improvisation that grows through the close interaction of the quartet.

Acknowledgement introduces the central musical idea, while Resolution gives it a more driving setting. Pursuance and Psalm carry the second side from intense instrumental exchange towards a slower, searching conclusion. The suite’s structure gives the musicians freedom while keeping the album focused as a single connected statement.

This edition presents the suite on one 180g orange vinyl LP, with Acknowledgement and Resolution on side A and Pursuance / Psalm on side B.
