Kiss - Destroyer (45th Anniversary Deluxe 180g Vinyl 2LP)

Destroyer is the landmark 1976 studio album from KISS and one of the defining records of the band's career. Produced by Bob Ezrin, it expanded the group's hard-rock sound with more ambitious arrangements and production while delivering some of their most enduring songs, including Detroit Rock City, God Of Thunder, Shout It Out Loud and Beth.

The original nine-track album also features King Of The Night Time World, Flaming Youth, Sweet Pain, Great Expectations and Do You Love Me?. From the cinematic opening of Detroit Rock City to the orchestral ballad Beth, Destroyer pushed KISS beyond the rawer sound of their earlier records and became a cornerstone of 1970s hard rock.

This expanded 45th Anniversary Deluxe Edition adds an entire second LP of material from the Destroyer era. Six Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons demos are joined by six studio rarities, including Beth (Acoustic Mix), a mono single edit of Shout It Out Loud, an instrumental Detroit Rock City and alternate or early versions of several album tracks. Ten of the 12 bonus recordings were previously unreleased when this edition appeared in 2021.

The original album has been newly remastered and half-speed mastered by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. This deluxe edition is pressed across two 180g black vinyl records and comes housed in a gatefold sleeve with two printed inner sleeves and a 20-page booklet featuring rare photographs and The Story of Destroyer liner notes.
