Originally released on 4 July 1988, Kylie is the debut studio album from Australian pop icon Kylie Minogue. Arriving at the height of her popularity as Charlene Mitchell on Neighbours, the album transformed Kylie from a television favourite into an international recording star. Packed with infectious melodies, bright synthesiser arrangements and unforgettable choruses, Kylie became one of the defining pop albums of the late 1980s and launched a remarkable musical career spanning decades.

The album opens with the irresistible I Should Be So Lucky, the chart-topping single that introduced Kylie's distinctive pop sound to audiences around the world. Her energetic interpretation of The Loco-Motion became another international smash, while Got to Be Certain and Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi showcased her ability to balance upbeat dance-pop with romantic melodies. Other highlights include the shimmering It's No Secret, the fan favourite Turn It Into Love and the album's closing track, Love at First Sight, a different song from her later 2002 hit of the same name.
