Linkin Park - Minutes To Midnight (Vinyl LP)

Minutes to Midnight is the third studio album from American rock band Linkin Park, originally released in 2007. Following the enormous success of Hybrid Theory and Meteora, the band took their music in an ambitious new direction, moving beyond their established nu metal sound to explore alternative rock, hard rock and more melodic, emotionally driven songwriting.

The 12-track album features some of Linkin Park's most recognisable songs, including What I've Done, Bleed It Out, Shadow of the Day, Given Up and Leave Out All the Rest. Further highlights include the politically charged Hands Held High, the powerful No More Sorrow and the atmospheric closing track The Little Things Give You Away.

Co-produced by legendary producer Rick Rubin and Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda, Minutes to Midnight represents a major creative evolution for the band. The album places greater emphasis on organic instrumentation, layered arrangements and the expressive vocals of Chester Bennington, while retaining the intensity and distinctive musical identity that made Linkin Park one of the defining rock acts of the 2000s.

Its lyrics explore themes of personal struggle, political unrest, loss and uncertainty, reflecting a broader perspective than the band's earlier releases. From the explosive energy of Given Up to the emotional depth of Leave Out All the Rest, the album demonstrates Linkin Park's versatility and willingness to experiment with new sounds.
