Mac Demarco – Rock And Roll Night Club (Expanded Vinyl EP)

Rock And Roll Night Club is the debut solo EP from Mac DeMarco, originally released in 2012 through Captured Tracks. Arriving before his breakthrough album 2, the record introduced DeMarco's distinctive blend of lo-fi indie rock, woozy pop, offbeat humour and laid-back songwriting, establishing the unconventional style that would become central to his early career.

Highlights include Rock And Roll Night Club, Baby's Wearing Blue Jeans, One More Tear To Cry, European Vegas, She's Really All I Need and I'm A Man. Strange radio interludes and DeMarco's warped crooning give the record its late-night character, while beneath the eccentric production are the melodic guitar hooks and pop instincts that would become hallmarks of his music.

Rock And Roll Night Club marked DeMarco's first release for Captured Tracks and helped introduce his solo work following his time with Makeout Videotape. The Expanded Edition brings together all 12 recordings associated with the release, including the additional tracks Only You and Me And Mine.

This Expanded Edition is pressed on a single black vinyl EP and contains the complete 12-track expanded version of Rock And Roll Night Club.
