Salad Days is the second studio album from Mac DeMarco, originally released in 2014 through Captured Tracks. One of the defining indie records of the 2010s, the album pairs DeMarco's unmistakable jangly guitar sound and laid-back vocals with increasingly reflective songwriting, balancing his offbeat humour with songs about growing older, relationships and the pressures that came with his rapidly rising profile.

The album features some of DeMarco's best-known songs, including Salad Days, Blue Boy, Brother, Passing Out Pieces and the fan favourite Chamber Of Reflection. Further highlights such as Let Her Go, Goodbye Weekend, Let My Baby Stay and Treat Her Better showcase the woozy guitars, warm melodies and relaxed songwriting style that became synonymous with DeMarco's early work.

Written and recorded while DeMarco was navigating an increasingly relentless touring schedule, Salad Days followed his acclaimed 2012 album 2 and marked a noticeable step forward in both songwriting and production. DeMarco performed and recorded the album himself at his Jizz Jazz Studios in Brooklyn, retaining the homemade character of his earlier recordings while expanding his sound with keyboards and more introspective arrangements.

This vinyl edition presents the complete 11-track album on a single black vinyl LP, housed in a gatefold sleeve.
