Mary J. Blige – A Mary Christmas (10th Anniversary Red Vinyl 2LP)

A Mary Christmas is the first Christmas album from Grammy Award-winning R&B and soul singer Mary J. Blige. Originally released in 2013, the album brings her rich, expressive voice to a collection of festive standards, traditional carols and seasonal favourites. This 10th Anniversary Edition is presented on limited-edition red double vinyl.

Produced by legendary musician and arranger David Foster, the album combines orchestral arrangements, warm jazz influences and contemporary soul. Blige brings her unmistakable vocal style to familiar songs, balancing the joy of the Christmas season with moments of reflection, tenderness and gospel-inspired emotion.

The collection opens with Little Drummer Boy before moving through timeless favourites including Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, My Favorite Things, This Christmas and The Christmas Song. Her performances give these much-loved recordings a soulful character while retaining their traditional festive atmosphere.

Special guests add further variety. Barbra Streisand and trumpeter Chris Botti appear on When You Wish Upon a Star, while British singer Jessie J joins Blige for Do You Hear What I Hear?. Gospel group The Clark Sisters feature on The First Noël, and Marc Anthony contributes to the Spanish-language Noche de Paz (Silent Night).

From the gentle beauty of Winter Wonderland and Silent Night to the soaring finale of O Holy Night, the album makes an inviting soundtrack for Christmas gatherings and quieter holiday moments alike.

This anniversary pressing features two red vinyl LPs, offering a collectible edition of Mary J. Blige's festive album for soul, R&B and Christmas vinyl collections.
