Matchbox Twenty – Exile On Mainstream (Limited Edition White Vinyl 2LP)

Exile On Mainstream is the career-spanning compilation from American rock band Matchbox Twenty, originally released in 2007. Combining newly recorded material with remastered versions of the band's biggest hits, the collection brings together songs from their hugely successful late-'90s and early-2000s catalogue while introducing a fresh batch of recordings produced by Steve Lillywhite.

The collection opens with new material including How Far We've Come, I'll Believe You When, All Your Reasons and These Hard Times, before moving through some of Matchbox Twenty's defining singles. Highlights include Push, 3 AM, Real World, Bent, If You're Gone, Unwell and Bright Lights.

The new recordings reunited Rob Thomas, Kyle Cook, Paul Doucette and Brian Yale with Grammy-winning producer Steve Lillywhite. Paired with remastered favourites drawn from albums including Yourself or Someone Like You, Mad Season and More Than You Think You Are, Exile On Mainstream provides an excellent overview of the band's distinctive blend of alternative rock and melodic pop-rock.

This limited edition 2022 reissue presents the collection across two white vinyl LPs. It marked the first coloured-vinyl edition of Exile On Mainstream and the first vinyl repress of the compilation since its original release.
