MF Doom – MM..Food (20th Anniversary Vinyl 2LP)

Originally released in 2004, MM..FOOD is one of MF DOOM's most celebrated albums and a landmark of underground hip hop. Built around an ingenious food-themed concept, the record combines dense wordplay, comic-book humour, obscure samples and DOOM's unmistakable production style into one of the most distinctive rap albums of its era.

Featuring classics including "Rapp Snitch Knishes", "One Beer", "Hoe Cakes" and "Beef Rapp", the album uses culinary references as the foundation for sharp observations on ego, conflict, relationships and the rap industry. Guest appearances include Count Bass D on "Potholderz", Angelika and 4ize on "Guinnessez", and the mysterious Mr. Fantastik on the fan favourite "Rapp Snitch Knishes".

Much of the album was produced by DOOM himself under his Metal Fingers production alias, while Madlib produced "One Beer". Packed with intricate internal rhymes, unconventional beats and samples drawn from vintage television and other unexpected sources, MM..FOOD has grown into an enduring cult classic and one of the essential releases in MF DOOM's catalogue.

Celebrating two decades since its original release, this 20th Anniversary Vinyl 2LP edition has been completely repackaged with new artwork by Sam Rodriguez. The two records are pressed on striking tri-colour Sweet Tart marble-effect vinyl and housed in a premium tip-on case-wrapped gatefold jacket. The package also includes a QR sticker linking to the interactive MM..FOOD Diner AR experience.
