Michael Franti and Spearhead – Welcome To The Family (Metallic Eco-Mix Vinyl LP)

Welcome To The Family is the 2025 studio album from Michael Franti & Spearhead, continuing Franti's uplifting blend of reggae, soul, funk, pop and roots music. Centred on ideas of family, community and human connection, the album explores the people we are born to, the people we choose and the wider communities that support us through uncertain times.

The 13-track vinyl edition includes Welcome To The Family, Drop Me In The Water, Everyday's Saturday, Shine and Break Up With Everything. Other highlights include Be Who You Are, Sunny Lemonade, Rise Up and the closing Heaven With You.

Franti describes Welcome To The Family as a record about finding connection in the midst of uncertainty and recognising the different forms family can take. That message runs throughout an album filled with the positive, socially conscious songwriting and genre-crossing sound that have become signatures of Michael Franti & Spearhead.

This Vinyl LP edition is pressed on distinctive Metallic Eco-Mix vinyl and comes housed in a gatefold sleeve. Eco-Mix manufacturing means the exact colour and finish can vary slightly between individual records, making each pressing visually unique.
