C418 – Minecraft Volume Alpha (Transparent Green Vinyl LP)

Originally released in 2011, Minecraft Volume Alpha is the acclaimed soundtrack album by German composer and producer C418, created for the globally influential video game Minecraft. Built around soft piano, ambient textures and understated electronic arrangements, the music became an essential part of the game's identity and has developed a devoted following well beyond the gaming world.

Featuring some of C418's best-known compositions including "Sweden", "Wet Hands", "Minecraft", "Mice on Venus" and "Subwoofer Lullaby", the album balances calm, minimalist melodies with warm electronic soundscapes and a strong sense of nostalgia.

The soundtrack's gentle pacing and spacious production give the music an atmospheric quality that works just as well for quiet listening as it does within the world of Minecraft. Tracks such as "Living Mice", "Moog City", "Haggstrom" and "Clark" have become instantly recognisable to generations of players.

This Transparent Green Vinyl LP edition features a 12-track selection from Minecraft Volume Alpha, pressed on translucent green vinyl in a colour that perfectly complements the game's iconic visual world.

Supplied brand new and sealed, it's a standout addition for Minecraft fans, video game soundtrack collectors and listeners of ambient and electronic music on vinyl.
