Mitski - Nothing's About to Happen to Me (Limited Edition Yellow Vinyl LP)

Released in 2026, Nothing's About to Happen to Me is the eighth studio album from Mitski, continuing the rich, organic musical direction of The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We. Supported by a live band and sweeping orchestral arrangements, the album pairs Mitski's intimate songwriting with an atmospheric sound that moves between indie rock, art pop and Americana.

Featuring standout tracks including "Where's My Phone?", "I'll Change for You" and "If I Leave", the album centres around the story of a reclusive woman living alone in an unkempt house. Outside her home she is viewed as an outsider, while within it she finds freedom, giving the record a distinctive narrative thread that runs throughout its 11 songs.

All songs and vocals are by Mitski, with longtime collaborator Patrick Hyland producing and engineering the album. Live instrumentation comes from the touring band behind The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, while the orchestral arrangements were created and conducted by Drew Erickson and recorded at Sunset Sound and TTG Studios in Los Angeles. The album was mastered by Bob Weston.

This Limited Edition Tansy Yellow Vinyl LP is the Indie Exclusive pressing of the album, presenting all 11 tracks across two sides of coloured vinyl.
