Nemzzz – Rent's Due (Vinyl LP)

Manchester rapper Nemzzz continues his rise through the UK hip-hop scene with Rent's Due, his second mixtape, released in 2025. Following the breakthrough success of Do Not Disturb, the project showcases his distinctive laid-back delivery, sharp observations and instinct for memorable hooks. Combining UK rap, drill-inspired rhythms and melodic trap production, Rent's Due captures the confidence of an emerging artist building a sound that is unmistakably his own.

Opening track Cold immediately establishes the mixtape's cool-headed atmosphere, with Nemzzz delivering tightly controlled verses over crisp, understated production. Motion and Turks & Caicos maintain the momentum, balancing relaxed flows with punchy rhythms, while DTM highlights his conversational approach to storytelling. One of the project's standout collaborations, Dilemma, features fellow UK rapper Central Cee, bringing together two distinctive voices from Britain's contemporary rap scene. Miami, featuring Brooklyn rapper Kyle Richh, introduces an international dimension to the record.

Elsewhere, Ego and Sorry explore relationships, ambition and personal reflection through Nemzzz's characteristically restrained delivery. Bad Gal Riri pairs a catchy hook with his effortless rhythmic style, while BMF and Bad Decisions deliver concise, energetic performances. Stop It! keeps the pace moving, followed by Chant, featuring Chy Cartier, before Paid brings the mixtape to a confident close.

Throughout Rent's Due, Nemzzz builds on the minimalist production and direct lyricism that helped establish his reputation. Rather than relying on elaborate arrangements, the mixtape places his voice, flow and distinctive Manchester perspective at the centre of the music. The combination of understated beats, memorable melodies and high-profile guest appearances makes it a strong example of contemporary British hip-hop, bridging the sounds of UK rap and modern trap.

This vinyl LP edition presents fourteen tracks from Rent's Due on black vinyl. Released through No Matter, it offers a physical edition of an important early project from one of the UK's emerging rap artists, making it a worthwhile addition for listeners and collectors of contemporary hip-hop.
