Nicki Minaj - Queen (2LP Orange Vinyl Record)

Queen puts Nicki Minaj’s quick changes of character and rhythm at the centre of a broad, nineteen-track album. Released in 2018, it moves between confrontational rap performances, melodic hooks and more restrained songs, with the production shifting to suit each mode.

Barbie Dreams, Chun-Li and Good Form emphasise her rhythmic precision and humour, while Bed and Come See About Me show another side of the record. Collaborations create changes in tone across the sequence, but Minaj’s delivery remains the thread that holds the different settings together.

This edition presents the album across two orange vinyl records, with the full nineteen-track sequence arranged over four sides.
