Originally released in 2002, Heathen Chemistry is the fifth studio album from Oasis and saw the Manchester band return to a more direct, guitar-driven rock sound. Following the experimentation of Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, the album combines classic Oasis swagger with some of the band's most heartfelt and enduring songwriting.

Featuring fan favourites including "The Hindu Times", "Stop Crying Your Heart Out", "Little by Little" and "Songbird", the album showcases contributions from across the band. Noel Gallagher delivers some of his most memorable anthems, while Liam Gallagher's "Songbird" became the first Oasis single written by the frontman.

Heathen Chemistry reached No. 1 in the UK and went on to sell more than one million copies there, earning triple-platinum status. It was also the final Oasis studio album to feature longtime drummer Alan White, marking the end of an important era in the band's history.
